How do you support tax cuts and at the SAME time support a multi billion dollar war? Cause the key peice is the phrase "multi billion dollar". And seeing as how our taxes significantly contribute to the militairy (which at the moment is so ill equipt that soldiers are being deployed WITHOUT guns) wouldn't stand to reason that we should RAISE taxes? So that we can pay for stuff that our soldiers NEED? Which costs MONEY that WE need to help supply? It's strikes me as rather hypocritical that many people oppose congress's efforts to cut iraq war funding because it hurts our troops, but many of the same people support tax cuts....lower taxes lead to less money for government and public property (like the millitairy)... which leads to a lack of funding.... which leads to a lack of support for already illequipt troops....
